So after searching for the perfect man or
woman through friends, at bars and on online dating sites, you finally found the person who took you off the market. You love being around them, having sex with them and sharing your bed with them.
However as the months go by, there are things of comfort that will slowly kill your relationship
if you are not careful and if you let the following five things consume you, you can kiss your significant other and more importantly, your sex life good-bye.
1. THE COUCH
The number one passion killer in any relationship is A COUCH. Curling up on the couch together watching NETFLIX is great, but a lot of couples make it apart of their daily routines and because of that, passion dies due to weight gain and pure boredom. Treat
your couch in a relationship like you would treat your own personal diet and avoid it as much as you can
and use one cheat day a week to laze around onthe
couch together.
2. MARIJUANA
This is an extension of number one because if you partake in smoking marijuana together, you will most likely end up watching some horrible movie on your couch afterward. If you smoke marijuana frequently together, your relationship will go to pot. (Excuse the pun.) Not only will it kill your ambition, it will also kill any chance of you wanting to do anything but waste time doing nothing together.
3. Dirty Dishes
There is a reason why married couples invest in a dishwasher after they move in together and dirty dishes are a perfect allegory for your relationship. You keep your kitchen like you keep your man or woman. If you can’t maintain something as simple as dishes, how could you ever expect to maintain a relationship?
4. iPhones And SmartPhones
Years ago, we never had to worry about our phones taking over our relationships, but because of texting, social networks and the resurrection of BBM, we have lost any sense of social decency and have let our phones take over our lives. When you are with your boyfriend or girlfriend, try to refrain yourself from constantly picking up your phone for every notification or text message that comes your way.
5. MISSIONARY POSITION
In the first stages of dating, it’s not difficult to be inventive in the sack. You practice every sex position you can. However, after a while, couples tend to rely on the Ol’ faithful missionary position and it takes all the fun out of it. Always change it up—literally and figuratively in the bedroom.
Remember, you can always tell you’re with “The One” when you love spending your time with them. If you love wasting your time with your significant other however, then you are holding yourself back. Your boyfriend or girlfriend should always inspire you to be the best person you can be. Always make every minute count with them!
